Your equine portrait session will last 15 minutes to 1 hour, depending on your Collection. Every detail is handled with care to showcase your horse at their very best, resulting in artwork you’ll treasure for years.

Q: What’s included in each package?
A: Every package includes a fully guided portrait experience, beautifully edited low-resolution social media digital images, and an online gallery for viewing and download. Depending on the session type, you may also receive print credits or special artwork options.
Q: Are digital images really included?
A: Yes! All of my packages include a set number of fully edited digital images. You’ll always know exactly how many are included with your session, and you’ll have the option to purchase additional images or artwork after viewing your gallery.
Q: Can I upgrade or add on more images later?
A: Absolutely. Once your gallery is ready, you can choose to purchase additional images or upgrade to a higher package. Many clients fall in love with more than they expected — and I make it easy to customize your order.
Q: Do you offer payment plans?
A: Yes. Payment plans are available for both your session and any artwork or digital upgrades after your gallery is delivered. I want this experience to be accessible and stress-free.
Q: How far in advance should I book?
A: Sessions often book out 4–6 weeks in advance, especially in spring and fall. If you have a specific date or event in mind, reach out early to secure your spot — weekends and show dates tend to fill quickly.
Q: Can I include my dog?
A: Yes! We have an add-on portion so you can include your dog! This includes some portraits of them in your desired background PLUS photos of your dog(s) and horse(s) together!
Q: what if my horse doesn't stand still?
A: Most horses adjust quickly, and I work patiently to capture their best expression and stance. Sessions are designed to be efficient, minimizing stress while still achieving timeless portraits.
Q: Do you travel to barns or private properties?
A: Yes — I travel to your location! The first hour of travel from Carterville, IL is complimentary. Beyond that, it’s $45 per additional hour of travel. For out-of-state travel, I offer a flat travel fee. If multiple clients book at one location, travel costs can be shared.
Q: What happens after the session?
A: You’ll receive an online proofing gallery to select your favorite images. Once you’ve chosen, I’ll professionally edit your selected images and deliver them in a high-resolution digital format. You’ll also have the option to order fine art prints, wall art, or albums if you’d like to display your portraits in your home or barn.
